Supported Platforms
Comma ships with a registry of major gig platforms. Each platform has a name, color scheme, country availability, and default rate settings.
Managing platforms
Go to Settings → Platforms to see all available platforms. Toggle each one on or off. Only active platforms appear in:
- The shift creation wizard
- The platform filter
- Analytics breakdowns

Adding a custom platform
If you work on a platform not in the list:
- Go to Settings → Platforms → + Add Custom Platform.
- Enter a name, choose a color, and set your target hourly rate.
- Activate it.
Custom platforms work exactly like built-in ones. They appear in all filters, shift creation, and analytics.
Per-platform settings
For each active platform you can configure:

| Mileage rate | Per-mile rate for this platform (overrides default if set) |
| Display color | Used in charts and badges |
| Sort priority | Order in the platform picker |
Edit these in Settings → Platforms → [Platform Name].
Multi-platform shifts
You can work multiple platforms simultaneously during a single shift. Each platform’s sub-record independently tracks:
- Online seconds — how long you were active on that app
- Gross revenue — earnings attributed to that platform
- Tips — tips from that platform
- Trips count — number of deliveries
The parent shift’s total mileage covers all platforms combined — Comma doesn’t split miles per platform since GPS can’t know which app you were “on” for any given mile.
Platform analytics
The Platform Report (in the Reports panel) and the platform breakdown widgets on the Dashboard show:
- Earnings per platform for any date range
- Effective hourly rate per platform
- Shifts per platform
- Platform share (% of total earnings from each)
This helps you identify which platforms are most profitable for your market and schedule.
