Analytics and Reports

Comma turns your shifts and expenses into a dashboard you check at a glance, an analytics tab for going deeper, and exports you can hand to an accountant.

Dashboardthe glance — today, this week
Analytics tabthe dig — 6 grouped cards, by week/month/year
Reportsthe hand-off — CSV, PDF, tax summary
Three depths of the same records. Each one answers a longer question than the last.

The dashboard

The dashboard is the first thing you see. It's built from a few cards:

  • A hero card with a Today / Week toggle showing what you earned in that window.
  • Three stat tiles: hours worked, distance driven, and your per-hour rate.
  • A weekly goal ring when Goals is switched on.
  • The Finish setting up activation checklist card. For new users this is prominent by design — it holds the setup questions Comma deliberately deferred (your other apps, your real vehicle, your goal, GPS, backup) and disappears once you've worked through them.
  • Recent sessions, each with a route mini-map.
  • A mileage write-off tip that keeps the deduction visible without treating it as cash.

The Analytics tab

The Analytics tab sits behind the analytics feature flag. A period navigator moves through week, month, or year with previous and next controls.

It offers three views — Performance, Insights, and Stat Cards — built from six grouped cards:

GroupFocus
TrendsHow your numbers move over time.
Work RhythmWhen and how long you work.
Income SourcesWhere your earnings come from.
OutlookWhere the current period is heading.
Efficiency & StabilityActive-to-dead ratio and consistency.
Order EconomicsThe economics per order.

The stat cards themselves, several of which expand for detail:

Stat cardShows
Gross earningsEverything the platforms paid.
Net take-homeWhat's left after tax set-aside and expenses.
ExpensesTotal spend, with a burn ratio.
Average $/hrYour rate, split active versus online.
Tax set-asideWhat you should be holding back.

Web-only extras

The web app adds a few exports the phone doesn't:

  • A mileage-log CSV.
  • A tax summary as CSV or JSON.
  • A print view that uses the browser's print-to-PDF.
  • A Year-in-Review image to save or share.
