Custom platforms

Work somewhere that isn't listed? Create a custom platform with a name, a colour, and an emoji or logo. It behaves exactly like a built-in one across shifts, filters, and analytics.

Open Settings → Platforms to manage them:

The platform switcher

The switcher in the header filters the whole app to a single platform or to All. Set it to one app and the dashboard, analytics, shifts, and expenses all narrow to that platform — so you can judge DoorDash on its own numbers rather than a blended average.

Setup and the activation checklist

Setup captures exactly one platform, to keep the first run short. Add the rest later from the activation checklist item "Add your other apps". Comparing platforms only works once more than one is active, so this is worth doing early.

Adaptive wording

Comma follows each platform's own language rather than imposing its own. Amazon Flex drivers say "block", not "shift", so that's the word Comma uses when you're working Flex. The vocabulary bends to the app you're on.

Multi-platform shifts

A single shift can span multiple platforms at once. Each one keeps its own online time, earnings, and trips as a sub-record, so a night spent double-apping is recorded honestly and you can see which app carried the shift.
